At A New Era America (ANEA), a California-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we believe healing begins with the mind, and dignity follows. We deliver wellness-centered mental health care and relief to people experiencing humanitarian crises across the United States. Through our flagship program, 4WARDSTEPS, we guide individuals through a structured 90-day wellness journey led by dedicated Wellness Coordinators. Each participant moves through three key steps: meeting basic survival needs (food, shelter, aid, and safety), receiving direct mental health care (therapy, EMDR, trauma-informed services), and rebuilding through support and connection (animal therapy, education, and community reintegration).
Beyond our core program, ANEA’s Pop-Up Kindness Activations bring real-time compassion to the streets, umbrellas in the rain, meals in the cold, or emergency funds when hope runs out. Our Digital Resource Center connects vulnerable individuals nationwide to verified, free help. Together, these pillars support, kindness, and connection, and form our mission to heal minds and restore humanity.
