At A New Era America, we believe it’s time for a new era of American values: empathy, dignity, solidarity, stability, and we translate those into real action. Whether we’re working with unhoused neighbors and at-risk youth in Los Angeles, families torn apart by trauma, veterans seeking recovery, or communities displaced by disaster, our mission is to step in where traditional systems leave gaps and deliver wellness-centered mental health care and support.
We’re building our dedicated team of volunteers, focused in Los Angeles (now) and expanding to San Diego, San Francisco, New York City, Chicago, Miami, Austin, and beyond.
We’d love to hear from you about your interest in joining us as a volunteer now, as we scale up our hands-on impact.
Volunteers at ANEA can make a difference in so many ways: you might join us for on-ground support, popping up in neighborhoods to facilitate therapy groups, distribute animal-therapy sessions, provide street-based resource outreach, conduct trainings, create engaging content, support logistics, or serve in other creative roles tailored to your strengths. Celebrities, influencers, elected officials, and everyday individuals all have a place with us: if you bring visibility, storytelling power, or specialized skills, great. If you simply bring heart, time and willingness, that’s powerful too. We’re currently recruiting volunteers in Los Angeles and virtually from anywhere in the world, with plans to onboard for other cities as our network grows.
